Collection: Kim Krumrey

My work is bold and fun. I celebrate color, pattern and shape, creating dynamic visual contrast within each piece. The colors I use are vibrant; the patterns are clean and simple yet bold; and the shapes are often altered to create a sense of movement and playfulness.

Kim first studied ceramics at Western Michigan University. She opened her ceramics studio in 1999 after apprenticing with potter/sculpture David Austin for one year. Since then Kim has been self taught, continually experimenting with new techniques and designs. She currently shows her work at fine galleries and participates in juried fine art fairs throughout Michigan.
